About Dr. Julia Huber
Dr. Julia Huber is a licensed physician independently practicing Lifestyle Medicine in Kentucky and Virginia and is a member of the PhysiciansUnited group. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
She is also a seasoned, ICF-certified professional coach in her 13th year of coaching and adheres to the ICF Code of Ethics for coaches. In addition, she is a certified trauma-informed yoga instructor.
Before obtaining her M.D. in 1996, she worked as a patient and family advocate and a health careers counselor, then was an EMT for eight years.
She is the mom of two spunky teens and lives with her family in Lexington, Kentucky. In addition, she has extended family and close ties to her hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia.
Alma maters include: Bryn Mawr College, the University of Virginia School of Medicine, the UK Chandler Medical Center, Coaches Training Institute, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Essence of Yoga Institute.
